Day 3 - Tiverton to Caldicot ('Monmouthshire')

Another day on LeJog and
another strong fashion
statement from the team!!!

Flying after the first 30 miles of the day.
Re-fuelled in Bridgwater with coffee and Andy's Mum's Welsh Cakes!

The mascots clear the  leftovers!!!!
They love Welsh Cakes!

 Charging through the Somerset Marshes.

But Puff has disappeared!
He was seen last in Andy's back pocket stuffed with Welsh Cakes!
Where has he gone???

Lunch at The Plough in Congresbury.

Extras supplied by
the friendly locals at their
usual Friday get together.

No sign of Puff though
even after a thorough
support vehicle search!

After lunch the team send Allison to buy some of the award winning bread they sampled in the pub,  from the bakery in Congresbury and they cycle on towards Bristol!
To say it started to rain is the understatement of the year!!!
Sarah says she was canoeing rather than cycling!

A rainy Clifton Suspension Bridge
and Bristol Zoo!

LeJog presses on towards the Severn Bridge and as they get closer to home the rain stops.
Soup and lonely twin Magic continue the search for Puff.

Perhaps he's headed back to the nest at home thinks Soup as she gazes towards Wales!

The 'half way across the Severn Bridge' shot, it's an uphill cycle to here
and it's on to The Castle, Caldicot for the welcome home!!!

Andy is suddenly energised,
I wonder why???

The WAGS and families are in attendance!!!

So it's off for a large bowl of pasta and a night at home!!!!

Day 2 - Ruan High Lanes to Tiverton

Sarah sorts out the fine detail directions from last nights
B&B hosts.

They're off - only 98 miles and around 8,500 feet of climbing to go!

Soup directs them in to the first coffee and cake stop - after a mad downhill stretch on new dual carriageway, turn left at the viaduct towards Liskeard.

Carrot Cake, Flapjacks or Welsh Cakes to go with your coffee madam?

      'What's occurin' ?

Soup contemplates Kelly College, Tavistock for the Kids?

She'd need a few more film roles to fund this she thinks!!!

The LeJog train breezes out of Tavistock and over Dartmoor.

Lunch at the luxurious Little Chef in Sourton Down near Okehampton.

Nearly there and the first
major downpour of the day!

They made it!
A really tough days cycling with loads of climbing but they're still smiling.

Day One - Lands End to Ruan High Lanes

Signing the End to End Book at Lands End Hotel!

The first chapter of the LeJog Adventure begins!!

A moment of fame - being interviewed by
ITV for a documentary about the Olympic Torch Relay.

A dry start against all the odds and
BBC Weather forecasting!!!

Soup has a moments peace without the boys!!
Admiring the view of St Micheals Mount!

5 minutes respite on the King Harry Ferry.

The end of Day One! The New Inn, Veryan. Cornish Tribute Real Ale went down a treat and was rated 8/10 by the boys (we had to allow room for some higher scores, it's only Day 1!!!)
